Surrender To The Flow?....

Hello my positive thinking friends!

Today I'd like to explain what my blog title is all about. I've been getting a few comments asking me what "surrender to the flow" actually means and how it can be applied to daily life. Well, there's no real secret here. The term "surrender to the flow" simply means going WITH the grain of life, not against it. It doesn't imply you should accept negativity nor should you let people walk all over you. It means that, although things don't always work out the way we'd like(ie. promotion or the loan approval)accept the reality of what has happened. Instead of struggling in the wake, understand that what is happening IS happening and theres not much you can do stuck and arguing about it. So..... Instead of getting hurt, feet-stomping angry, and over-thinking the matter, surrender to it. Understand that it happened, and move on to the next step. Trust that things will get better. A positive outlook gets positive outcomes every time!

Life is hard.... for all of us! It's not what happens to us in life, but how we deal with it :) Always remember that.

100 FOLLOWERS! WE MADE IT!!!!

Well, well, well...... I've finally arrived. In my few short days here, I've networked among the best and finally reach 100 FOLLOWERS!!!! But really, I have nobody to thank but all of you that have been reading my blog everyday.

I don't plan on slacking at this point. In fact, I've just begun. I'm a programming student, and I plan to slowly introduce snippets of code into my site over time. My ultimate goal is to create a new environment in which websites are displayed. We're at a point in time when computers process information and display graphics at the speed of light. It's a distant goal, but I want webpages to COME ALIVE! The word "webpage" alone is boring. I'm looking for surreal browsing experience that lets you "move" and "walk" through a virtual index, coined term "webIN". Think about it: You visit a green-movement webIN URL. You're brought to a view of the woods with text boxes morphing their way into view. Sunbeams shining through the cracked leaves. Pollen glimmers in the foreground and back ground, floral moving in the breeze. The sound of animals in the distance. This is a webIN.

This could sell to those wanting a more interactive experience for their website. Do you think this is something the internet needs? Please, feel free to comment. Constructive criticism is welcome :)

Positive Thinking Excercises......

The mind is like a garden: Pull the weeds. Trim the hedges. Whenever some negative external force comes my way, I don't fight it, I face it head on, observing it's odd nature. Cause deep down I know, I'm in the business of blooming flowers!

Positive thinking exercises are to rid your life of thoughts like: "My life sucks", "Things will never get better", "I'll never be able to pay for these expenses", "I'm no good" - Do they sound familiar?

These are the thoughts of negative thinkers.

These thoughts that may be with you now or were a part of your life some time ago. But now it is time for a change!

1. Fill your mind with positive thoughts

Positive thinking exercises are just like any form of exercise. Repetition on a daily basis leads to us getting fitter and healthier. The same applies to our minds.

Actively seek out positive thoughts whether it be about you or someone else or something else. This is not a self esteem building exercise as such. It is a practice that makes for a worthy long term habit of a healthy mind.

Feeling Green?....

Feeling stressed or depressed at the office? Studies show that those with living office plants feel better and are often more productive. Don't just buy any plant though. Pick a plant YOU find especially attractive whether you're into exotics or just grass. Take pride in your plant and trim the dead ends when needed. This isn't just for a better office or your well being, but a better breathing environment too :)

Stay positive, friends!

SORRY ABIOUT COMMENTS TURNED OFF!!!

Sorry guys.... I was messing with my settings and now ALL IS GOOD!!!!!!

Feel free to check and comment the last two blogs I made, thanks!

Good Morning, Positive Thinkers!!!

It's a beautiful Sunday morning here in the Northern Mountains of Utah. A bird is chirping outside and the morning dew from last nights rain is still on my window pane.

Lets realize how awesome it is that we're conscious and living beings all here to do our part. We laugh, cry, struggle, and sometimes own the day, but always moving forward!

Stay positive!

A video to make you smile....

It's import we learn positive reinforcement isn't always looking in from outside. Sometimes it's external experiences and the effects they have on our moods, such as concerts, amusement parks, and sunsets. It's OK to take pleasure in the little things. Remember to have fun. Stop and smell the roses!

So here's a goofy clip. This is from Mike Gordon(Phish bassist) announcing his solo tour. He tends to dress in weird outfits for these videos every announcement. Enjoy!
